Co-Chairman William C. Feeley’s impressive career spans more than 40 years, and demonstrates his unwavering commitment to excellence and safety in the commercial diving industry.

After graduation from the Divers Academy of the Eastern Seaboard in 1983, where he earned a commercial diving certificate, Mr. Feeley immediately joined Underwater Construction Corporation (UCC). At UCC he embarked on a journey that began in the field, mastering a diverse range of industrial diving disciplines, including applied commercial deep-sea diving, nuclear contaminated diving, hazardous waste diving, and work in hydroelectric and fossil plant environments.

In 1992, Mr. Feeley advanced to the role of Operations Manager, overseeing multiple nuclear power plant decommissioning projects across the U.S. and Asia. In this capacity, he managed all aspects of diving operations, from staffing and safety protocols to project execution and close-out. Known for his leadership and mentorship, he cultivated a culture of safety and professionalism, empowering his team to excel while prioritizing the well-being of every crew member.

Mr. Feeley was promoted to an executive leadership role in 2014 when he was named UCC’s Co-Chairman and Treasurer. In addition to these responsibilities, he has overseen sales, marketing, client relationships and business development, driving the company’s growth and strategic vision. Alongside another long-time UCC leader, Mr. Feeley played a pivotal role in acquiring UCC, solidifying the organization’s future and ensuring its continued success.

His unique perspective, shaped by his hands-on experience and rise through the ranks, has enabled him to foster a positive and safe workplace culture. His deep understanding of technical considerations, diver training, and operational challenges has guided the creation of innovative processes that consistently deliver exceptional results for clients and projects. Celebrated as a mentor and a leader, he has inspired countless industry professionals, many of whom proudly credit him as “the greatest boss ever.”
