Mr. Moody began working for Underwater Construction Corporation as a diver/tender in 1986 upon graduation from The Ocean Corporation in Houston TX. He quickly earned promotions to the rank of foreman and subsequently project manager. Mr. Moody completed UCC’s underwater welding training in 1990, and underwater plasma cutting training in 1992. Following the successful completion of UCC’s underwater coatings program in 1995, he earned Level I Coatings Inspector and Applicator status.
Since 1996, Mr. Moody has been the regional manager of UCC’s Soddy Daisy, Tennessee office. His responsibilities include the overall operation as well as business development for the division. Often this has required working cooperatively with Mr. William Camp of the TVA’s Power Service Shop. The growth of this office under Mr. Moody’s management has enabled it to maintain a steady and experienced workforce as well as a large equipment inventory to support the TVA’s plants.
